The acronym OLED is short for “organic light-emitting diode.” The namesake carbon compounds integrated into OLED displays make it possible to generate particularly high luminosities with low power consumption.

Due to their design, OLED displays are also slimmer than LCD and TFT displays. That is why we like to use them for small applications in sizes of up to 7”, e.g. in sensors, for parametrisation, or for media monitoring.
